Our Paediatric First Aid (Blended Learning) course combines independent pre-course study with a practical, hands-on training day led by qualified and experienced trainers.

Once you’ve booked and paid, a pre-course learning workbook will be emailed to you. All delegates are required to go through this before attending the face-to-face session. At the start of the training, delegates will complete a multiple-choice test (pass mark: 70%) based on the workbook. We recommend reviewing the workbook within seven days of the session to keep the knowledge fresh and ensure confidence for the test.

During the face-to-face session, participants will take part in interactive, practical activities to build confidence in responding to real-life first aid situations involving babies and young children.

Some parts of the training involve lifting equipment, bending, kneeling, or working on the floor for short periods. Please inform the trainer in advance if you have any medical or physical conditions that may affect your ability to complete these activities.
